  Enjoyed the Sportsman's Banquet with my second family. What impresses me most about this church is the children. They are respectful and also have a confidence and strong faith.
  Strong New Testament Church with an emphasis on soul-winning and children-raising. Adamant about tithing.

  This is NOT All People's Baptist Church. This is SOME People's Baptist Church. Decided to visit for Easter Sunday service and festivities after receiving flyer in door. There was an Easter Egg hunt at Simply Natural Creamery. Unorganized to say the least. There were at least 200 people there and no other African Americans/families that I saw. NO ONE spoke to us. The Pastor's daughter did chat for a few minutes after I struck up a convo, but no one was friendly enough and/or encouraged us to stay so we left.
  On Easter morning, my daughter and I attended sunrise service. It was at least 58 degrees so we dressed in jeans and long sleeves and Jackets. When we arrived everyone was dressed to the 9's in Easter clothing. Seemed very haughty and I felt under dressed and out of place. Of 100 or so people, only 1 woman spoke. She seemed to eye our dressed down clothing as "welcomed" us. We stayed for service and went inside for breakfast afterward. Nothing was prepared so we sat at a table in front of entrance. We were among the first inside and you HAD to pass us to enter hall/cafeteria. 2 out of 85-100+ people spoke.....in a CHURCH!!!!!! Very unwelcoming. Very unfriendly. I definitely feel our color played a factor. If you're not used to cold, unfriendly, snooty churches, I'd skip. Oh well for a prospective new church home.
